Children suffering from peanut allergies or other sensitivities that result in anaphylaxis present serious challenges for their parents. In many cases parents have few alternatives for caring for their allergic children. One example is the need for home schooling to ensure that these highly allergic children avoid exposure to peanuts and other known allergens. Anaphylactic reactions can be life threatening and accidental exposure could result in death.
For many, the holiday season brings joy but also stress. Many of our doctors are writing about stress this week and how it impacts health, specifically your bodies response to stress and it’s link to allergies:
The Holidays are fast approaching, and it’s that time of year again… my sneezing, itchy eyes, and runny nose are in full effect. From the burning of artificially scented candles to the smell of real Christmas trees, I feel like my sinuses are being assaulted at every turn. I have suffered from allergies and asthma since I was a little girl, and the holidays have always been a difficult time of year for me. If you add seasonal colds and flu to my allergies and asthma, it adds up to headaches and chronic fatigue, not to mention a constant feeling of stress.
Chances are you know of a child on Ritalin or some other prescription drug for “attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder” (ADHD). But did you know that these drugs can keep children from growing normally? Meanwhile, there are plenty of safe, natural ways to help these children that you won’t hear about from the mainstream medical community
I have recently started treating in my clinic using The Bax 3000 from Bioveda Wellness. The treatment is called Neurological Stress Reduction Therapy or NSRT. It is based on Psychoneuroimmunology and basically reconditions the nervous system to not be over sensitive to substances.
Female patient, age 44, suffered with salicylate sensitivity for years. She elected to try the Bax 3000 to see if it would help her condition. She had four treatments. Her response has been total elimination of all symptoms related to this condition. She has subsequently tested herself with her list of know triggers, ie hair care products, aspirin, all raw vegetables. She reported none of these things has caused her any problems since being treated. During a follow up phone consultation five months after treatment, she related that she has not experienced any relapse.
