Alcohol is a tremendous problem in society that often gets overlooked because we've become so hyper obsessed with the scare tactics over the anti-tobacco hype - and big pharmaceutical giants making billions by pushing the same agenda to up their sales of Nicorette, among others - and my friend has tried for years to say "having a few beers never hurt anyone." But no one beats his wife or kills anyone on the road because he's smoked a few cigarettes..... and every time my friend sees a beer commercial, he wants to pop one open it seems. Tobacco can't be advertised anymore, but Big Alcohol corporations get a free pass on that one. And it wasn't until my friend finally got 2 DUIs in a row that he finally thought about getting help. He's in a 12 step program now - thank goodness, because the booze was about to kill him - and 2 months in to sobriety, he's been having trouble "because of stress." He's not drinking again YET.... but I desperately want to help him stay away from it. Could your system do anything to help him reduce his stress.... or to react differently to it? He also complains of general pain, and then sometimes goes back to his old habitual thoughts by saying how much "a little night cap" would help. That's the last thing he needs now..... and I want to give him other resources. Please let me know if you have anything you can recommend for general pain or inflammation. Anything that would help relieve his stress and general fatigue and pains would help him in his journey to keep off the booze, and I appreciate any suggestions you can provide. Thank you so much. A pastor at a local church has been sending some of his congregation... telling them if they are going to work with the youth they should be setting a good example by not smoking! My friend is trying to avoid a knee replacement and I have been trying to determine if the low level lasers could stop the progression or even reverse the bone tissue death of avascuolar necrosis.
